Fantastic experience. I now look forward to each day instead of dreading what might happen. I have not had an anxiety attack or worried over silly uncontrollable things since. Claire is a very good listener and easy to talk to. She seems to know exactly how you feel. My life is definitely enhanced. I am happier, stronger and able to deal with situations better. I feel braver, much more confident and optimistic. Thank you again so much
Hypnosis is simply a way of using your mind to overcome any issues holding you back. It is completely safe and natural and is in some ways similar to being in a daydream. An everyday occurrence!
We all enjoy the state of hypnosis every day without realising it, for example whilst driving, exercising, daydreaming, reading or doing housework.
Hypnosis is a very enjoyable and relaxing experience and an incredibly powerful time to programme your mind for successful results. It is also known as Hypnotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Suggestion Therapy.
Your mind’s natural ability A completely natural and safe process, it has been around since Egyptian times and was used in ancient Greek temples.
Hypnotherapy is regularly used by celebrities who would not be prepared to invest time and energy in a therapy unless they were confident of its success and effectiveness.
It’s a simple, quick and effective therapy which will provide you with fast benefits and results.
How a Hypnotherapy Session in Can Help You
Perhaps this is the first time you have considered hypnosis and aren’t yet aware of how relaxing and life changing this therapy is? You simply close your eyes when you are ready and we begin with some lovely gentle visualisation. You are in complete control at all times and will be able to open your eyes at anytime (although no-one ever has, as they feel so relaxed, indeed no one wants to end this lovely relaxation!).
Sessions last for about 50 minutes and normally only a few sessions are needed.
Hypnosis is beneficial in treating symptoms such as stopping smoking, weight loss, driving test nerves, fears such as flying and public speaking, depression, habits such as nail-biting.
It also promotes relaxation and stress reduction and helps alleviate related stress disorders such as insomnia and IBS.
The conditions I treat include …
- Career Change anxiety
- Emetophobia (fear of sick)
- Executive burn out
- Exam Nerves – written, driving, police fitness tests
- Fears – fear of flying, etc
- Grief & bereavement
- Lack of confidence
- Low self esteem
- Panic Attacks
- Public Speaking
- Social Anxiety
- Stopping smoking
- Weight Loss
The power of our minds is immense and yet how little of it we use. Just imagine that by simply concentrating on a group of muscles and telling them to go limp and loose you can actually cause that group of muscles to relax. Imagine the positive benefits and advantages you can create in your life by using your mind in the right way because how you think affects how you behave.
Take the example of Roger Bannister running a 4 minute mile. Nothing too extraordinary about that you might think. Yet prior to his record breaking success in 1954 no-one had managed to achieve this record. However a year after his accomplishment almost 40 people enjoyed the same victory and the following year the number was 300.
Ok so maybe you have no desire to run a mile in 4 minutes – I can relate to that! However perhaps you do have a desire to achieve a healthy body weight or to rid yourself of a phobia or fear that has overtaken your life? Or perhaps you want to free yourself of a lifetime of smoking or improve your golfing/sports performance.
Like the case of the runners above, something which you may think is impossible – is in fact very possible and can be achieved quite easily!
Why wait and continue to live with your fears, phobias and unwanted thoughts and habits. We all insure our homes and belongings to protect ourselves. MOTs ensure our cars are roadworthy and fit to keep us safe as we travel. This is an investment in yourself and one of the best gifts you can give yourself, resulting in a happier and healthier life.
