3 easy steps to quitting smoking

smoking signGuess why most smokers don’t stop smoking on National No Smoking Day? After all it’s the ideal time to quit you might think. However most smokers believe that smoking reduces anxiety and helps to make stressful events better. So when pressure is put on them to stop, guess what happens?

You’ve got it, they feel even more stressed and want to smoke even more!

This is why I have extended my special offer of £40 off my Advanced Stop Smoking Session for the ENTIRE month of March! Every smoker who books in by the end of March can take advantage of this offer.

I have helped hundreds of people to become happy non-smokers in just one session. Check out both the video and written testimonials on my website and call today for a chat about how you can give up smoking easily too.

In the meantime here are 3 easy tips to help you along the way…

1. Set a date!
Setting a date helps you to focus on putting your promise into action. In the build up to the big day you might want to throw out any ashtrays, tell your friends and family that you are about to become a non smoker, buy some nice scented candles for a treat.

2. Prepare yourself!
Think about where you smoke – if its in the lunch break at work then plan a short walk instead. Warn your smoking buddies that you won’t be joining them. If you mainly puff away in the evening then get some dvds in, treat yourself to a magazine to read, buy some bath products or body lotion to make you smell amazing, make a to-do list to keep your mind occupied.

3. Think about your triggers
If you mainly smoke when on the phone to friends then keep something handy to do – even if its simply a duster and polish. Just think that whilst cleaning out your lungs your house will be dustfree and sparkling too.

Maybe you’re a ‘come home from work open a bottle of wine and have a cig’ sort of smoker. If that’s the case, then put on a tracksuit and go for a walk instead, taking note of your surroundings as you walk.

Take deep breaths and imagine your body cleansing itself with every breath that you take.
